Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist-I to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in Pinecrest, FL, 33156. This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Location: Pinecrest, FL, 33156
Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 2:00 pm with rotational Saturdays 6:30 -10:30 am (40 hours/week)
Pay Range: $17.74 - $19.74 per hour (Base pay range). The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume and may vary based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.

Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
- Ensure proper identification of patients before blood collection.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
- Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.
- Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.
Qualifications
- Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
- Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification is preferred
- Work Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience REQUIRED
- One (+) year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.
- Customer service in a retail or service environment is preferred.
- Keyboard/data entry experience is a must.
