Overview

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Wichita, KS 67214. This is a 3-4 months assignment with the possibility of extension or conversion.

Position

Senior Healthcare Associate at Pride Health

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–4:30 pm

Pay rate: $22-25/hr on W-2 (pay rate based on experience and educational qualifications)

Location: Wichita, KS 67214

  • The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of our company to patients and supports their health-related needs.
  • The PSR I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for lab testing following established practices and procedures.
  • The PSR I has direct contact with patients, explaining procedures and performing blood draws in a skilled, safe, and accurate manner to foster trust.
  • The PSR I will demonstrate leadership behaviors with a focus on process excellence and confidentiality of patient information. Assignments may include doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other sites as needed.
  • Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
  • Demonstrate excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric care.
  • Be flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 6 months experience; 1+ years phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience required.
