Overview

Overnight Retail Cashier role at Jacksons Food Stores. Pay starting at $16.70 per hour with $1.00 shift differential. Overnight shift eligibility requires a minimum of 4 hours between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am.

What you will do

• Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back.
• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Accurately ring up sales and merchandise, offering available discounts/promotions while following all company policies and applicable laws regarding restricted sales. Must be of legal age to sell and stock regulated products.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Properly label, rotate, and stock shelves, coolers, and displays.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Shift

Part-time, 10:00 pm – 7:00 am. Must be 21+ for this role.

• Team player who works to get the job done.
• Knowledge of cashiering in food service or retail environments is preferred.
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to change.
• Must be legal age to sell regulated products including tobacco and alcohol. Nevada: legal age to work around slot machines.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk and listen.
• Occasionally lift up to 65 pounds and frequently move up to 20 pounds.
• Work safely in conditions including heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes/odors from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
