RN Homecare Overnight Job at Maxim Healthcare in Mesa

Pay Rate: $42

Maxim Healthcare in Phoenix is hiring a Registered Nurse to work with an adult patient in their home. We have a g-tube/trach/vent patient in Mesa needing overnight coverage on Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. We ask that you are available to take these three shifts on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and services provided to clients receiving contracted services, as required.
• Initiate the plan of care when directed and request revisions from prescribers as patient needs change.
• Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and report to physicians or supervisors.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor effectiveness, and document accordingly.
• Review care plans and protocols, identify areas for education, care coordination, and discharge planning.

Requirements:

• Current RN license for the practicing state.
• Current health certificate (per facility or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of RN experience preferred.
