Residential Counselor Overnight Job at Brandon School and Residential Treatment

Brandon Residential Treatment Center is seeking caring, dependable Residential Counselors to support boys and young men in a safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment. You’ll play a key role in daily routines, emotional support, and life skill development.

Position Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor youth during overnight hours to ensure safety and well-being.
• Conduct routine bed checks, room inspections, and complete nightly logs.
• Assist with meal preparation and laundry, and ensure shared living spaces are clean, safe, and organized.
• Perform medication administration.
• Maintain a calm, predictable, and supportive atmosphere throughout the night.
• Assist with morning routines to help youth prepare for their day.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum one year experience working in human services/ mental health field preferred.
• Must have a valid ID and CORI/ DCF background check.
• Able to participate in physical interventions.
• MAP certified a plus.

Schedule:

• Starting at $18.00/ hour
• w/ MAP Certification: $21.00/ hour
