Job Description:

• The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients, assisting with health routines and health decisions.
• Draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing following established procedures.
• Interacts directly with patients, creating trust and explaining procedures in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
• Demonstrates leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy.
• Performs daily activities accurately and on time under supervision.
• Maintains a safe and professional environment.
• Handles forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing confidently, following established practices.
• Maintains required records and documentation.
• Promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months experience required; 1+ years preferred.
• Customer service experience in retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Candidates must list home city and commute time on resume; rate depends on direct experience.
• Reliable transportation to the worksite is required; public transportation or rideshare is not considered reliable.
• Must be punctual, available for scheduled shifts, and stay for entire shift. Excessive absenteeism or tardiness may lead to termination.
• Verify commute time to ensure it is within 20-25 minutes of the worksite.
