  • Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Summary:
The Phlebotomist - Patient Services Representative II provides advanced-level specimen collection and processing in a patient service center or clinical setting. This role requires strong phlebotomy skills across all age groups, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform phlebotomy, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • Verify patient demographic data and confirm specimen labeling in patient's presence
  • Prepare, process, and document specimens for laboratory testing
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
  • Comply with dress code, health & safety guidelines, and quality assurance standards
  • Provide bilingual communication support (preferred for this site)
  • Travel to and cover multiple locations with minimal notice, if required
  • Deliver superior customer service and demonstrate leadership behaviors
Required Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • Minimum 2 years in a patient service center environment preferred
  • Keyboard/data entry proficiency
Nice-to-Have Experience:
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training
  • Phlebotomy certification (required in CA, NV, WA; preferred in other states)
  • Customer service background in healthcare, retail, or service industries
Required Skills:
  • Advanced phlebotomy techniques
  • Specimen handling and processing accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime shifts
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in high-volume settings
