Day shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday-Friday Job Summary: As a
Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative (PSR II) , you will be the face of our company to patients, providing skilled phlebotomy services with professionalism and compassion. You will collect quality blood specimens, prepare them for testing, and ensure accurate records - all while creating an environment of trust and confidence for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily phlebotomy and specimen collection with accuracy and timeliness. Maintain a
safe and professional environment
while following all health and safety standards. Confidently execute both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing. Verify patient demographics, obtain signatures, and confirm accurate specimen labeling. Document all activities and maintain required records. Promote a positive image to patients, peers, and the public. Provide coverage across multiple locations as required. Required Experience:
3 years of phlebotomy experience , including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume environment. Nice-to-Have Experience:
2+ years in a Patient Service Center environment. Medical Assistant or Paramedic training. Phlebotomy certification (required in CA, NV, WA; preferred elsewhere). Customer service background in retail or healthcare. Keyboard/data entry skills. Required Skills:
Phlebotomy (pediatric, geriatric, capillary) Accurate specimen labeling and verification Independent, reliable work ethic Preferred Skills:
Customer service and patient communication Multi-location flexibility and adaptability Documentation and data entry accuracy Additional Skills:
