Automated Tester Job at Two Six Technologies in Herndon

We are building our team and looking for an experienced Automation Tester to support a new opportunity. This role will primarily focus on developing and maintaining automated end-to-end, integration, and performance tests.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform software product testing and investigate potential problems.
• Conduct manual testing as a backup for automated testing.
• Develop functional, end-to-end, regression, and performance tests in automated environments.
• Detect and report software bugs and feature requests.
• Reproduce, troubleshoot product defects, and collaborate with developers on resolutions.
• Assist in planning and implementing testing for new features.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of practical experience in software testing and Quality Assurance.
• At least 2 years of experience with automated testing frameworks like pytest (Python), unittest (Python), and Ansible.
• At least 1 year of experience with Git, Jenkins, and CI tools.
• At least 1 year of experience working with Linux OS.

Desired Knowledge/Skills:

• Familiarity with Java and/or Go and basic debugging skills.
• Experience with database technologies.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and scalable infrastructure.
• Experience refining testing scripts using Bash, Python, Ansible, etc.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Team collaboration skills and a passion for learning new technologies.
• Understanding of the Intelligence Community's priorities.

Security Clearance:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

The salary range for this position is $160,000 — $200,000 USD, determined by various factors including experience, education, and location.
