Position Description

This position will use bill of material and print to test coils to comply with safety, quality, and methods procedures. Setup and operate testing equipment used in leak detection of copper, brass, and cupro-nickel construction.

Key Responsibilities

This position requires the ability to operate equipment, set up equipment, identify and locate required tooling, and inspect coils prior to testing. This role also involves assembling vent and drain plugs if required, applying set pressure to coils, submerging them in water, and checking for leaks. The tester will repair all leaks and record data.

Required Education & Qualifications

High school education or equivalent is required.

Must be a certified brazer. The candidate should be flexible, problem-solving oriented, adaptable to change, and demonstrate initiative to learn and improve in the workplace.
