Position Description

This position will use bill of material and print to test coils to comply with safety, quality and methods procedures. Setup and operate testing equipment used in leak detection of copper, brass and cupro-nickel construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and set up equipment for testing
• Identify and locate required tooling, and inspect coils prior to test
• Assemble vent and drain plugs, if required
• Apply set pressure to coil and submerge under water to check for leaks
• Repair all leaks and record data

Required Education & Qualifications

• Must have high school education or equivalent
• Must be a certified brazer
• Must be flexible, problem solving oriented, acceptable to change and display initiative to learn and make improvements in the workplace
• Must be able to read engineering tape measure
