Short Description:

TCOE QA Analyst

Complete Description:

Years of Experience: 3 or more years as a testing consultant.

Job Responsibilities:

• Align with process & frameworks, leveraging templates & tools of the TCOE to perform all aspects of the Software Testing Life Cycle, including analyzing requirements, creating test cases, conditions, scripts, managing test data, executing tests, and defect management.
• Ensure timely and within-budget completion of all tasks, with all artifacts meeting TCOE standards.
• Communicate with business planning and development teams during requirements development.
• Create scenarios to validate acceptance criteria of customer requirements.
• Perform system testing activities supporting new and updated systems.
• Conduct smoke, functional, end-to-end, and integration testing.
• Participate in meetings with business and technical teams for requirement verification, test scenario identification, and scheduling.
• Prepare test scenarios and scripts using TCOE templates, adhering to quality standards.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Create, execute, and verify test results.
• Participate in defect management activities, including logging and re-testing.
• Support business users with test planning, execution, and analysis for UAT.
• Escalate issues and risks early.
• Support other team members and resources during testing activities.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience with SDLC/STLC processes and testing methodologies.
• Expertise in planning, designing, and executing complex tests including Functional, Regression, and End-to-End testing.
• Proficiency in identifying test scenarios, creating/updating test cases and data, executing tests, and tracking defects in Quality Center.
• Effective communication skills with QA Analysts, Test Leads, Developers, and BAs.
• Previous SAP testing experience required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Business.
• Experience with Excel and HP ALM.
• Automation tools experience: Worksoft Certify preferred; Selenium, HP UFT accepted.
• QA & ITIL Certification preferred.
• Financial or tax testing experience is a plus.
