Quality Assurance Tester Job at Atlas - Strategic consulting in Jersey City

Overview

We are seeking a well-qualified Business Analyst/ Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to support a healthcare development effort for our client. Leverage strong communication skills and business acumen to work closely with business teams to perform business analysis and quality assurance testing. This role requires problem-solving abilities, ideation and creation of solutions to solve complex business processes. This role goes beyond front end testing and requires true end-to-end testing experience.

• Experience processing business logic
• Experience with:

• Automated Test Tools
• Developing user stories and test cases
• Experience with writing and maintaining automated test suites
• Experience in writing and executing test plans and performing test prep
• Developing acceptance criteria
• Experience in manual UI testing
• Experience with backend/database testing and SQL
• Reading and understanding functional and technical requirements documentation
• Agile development methodology
• JIRA
• Experience working with patient data and/or general healthcare experience is preferred

Work you will do

• Conduct discovery and requirements-gathering sessions with clients
• Write business and functional requirements documentation
• Create process diagrams and wireframes
• Manage documentation in appropriate repositories
• Identify and document scope changes and project risks
• Research best practices and potential solutions for clients
• Estimate the labor it will take you to complete work
• Document and distribute meeting minutes
• One-time project to fully automate current regression test suite
• Write, test, and execute cases
• Integrate manual test cases into regression test suite after each dev sprint (long-term)
• Coordinate and liaise between the testing and product team
• Automating test scripts for regression testing
• Keeping automated test scripts up-to-date
• Identify gaps in test cases based on expected functionality
• Perform exploratory and risk-based testing (outside of documented functional test cases)
• Document usability issues
• Identify and log defects
• Include performance testing with a multi-browser approach to ensure compatibility
• Clearly document and distribute automation documentation on a regular basis
