Title: SDET - Tester/Programmer

Location: Hybrid within the Northeastern Region

Description

Join a leading global operator of institutional execution venues for FX and cryptocurrency trading as an SDET - Tester/Programmer. In this role, you will focus on developing and executing robust automated, functional, and performance tests for high-performance systems. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter to contribute to a dynamic team, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of cutting-edge trading platforms.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute automated, functional, and performance test cases for trading systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand domain knowledge and enhance test strategies.

Debug and analyze production logs to identify patterns and resolve issues.

Support testing for full-stack applications using Java and JavaScript.

Ensure the reliability of relational database systems like MySQL through thorough testing and validation.

Drive testing initiatives proactively with minimal supervision, contributing as an autonomous team member.

Required Skills

3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer with expertise in Java and JavaScript.

Strong background in automated, functional, and performance testing.

Experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL.

Analytical mindset with a curiosity to explore domain knowledge and design test cases.

Production support experience, including debugging and log analysis.

Pay range: $150-200k/year
