The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking experienced Software Engineers to be part of a team developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity. Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full time Software Engineer. In this role, you will support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of languages such as C or C++. This position requires US Citizenship and final Secret government security clearance prior to starting; facility access requires special clearance. This role involves embedded software development and lifecycle activities in accordance with the SDP.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in Embedded Systems
- Experience with C++, C, and Python programming languages
- Understanding of Object Oriented Design - Full software development lifecycle experience
- Experience with VxWorks
Desired Skills
- Previous experience writing and designing to software requirements
- Ability to perform software integration and test development activities
- Ability to work within multiple programming languages, operating systems, and development environments
- Previous experience with driver development
- Previous experience with board support package development
- Previous experience with operating system configuration and/or development
Security Clearance
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret

Pay Rate and Benefits: The annual base salary range for this position varies by location. This position is incentive plan eligible.
