Job Title

Automation Tester - Silicon Platform Validation

Job Summary

The Automation Tester - Silicon Platform Validation plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software by simulating user behaviors and identifying potential malfunctions. This position is vital for enhancing user satisfaction and maintaining the overall integrity of software products within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop Automation Test Scripts using Python to meet client requirements and enhance testing efficiency.
• Create comprehensive test designs for identifying automatable requirements, ensuring effective testing coverage.
• Execute test cases on silicon platforms, validating functionality and performance against expected outcomes.
• Conduct requirement analysis to distinguish between automatable and non-automatable requirements, facilitating efficient testing processes.
• Register defects, confirm specifications, and ensure accurate reporting of test results to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of silicon platform validation techniques.
• Familiarity with Python programming for automation scripting.
• Knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Optional but valuable: ISTQB Foundation Level certification.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses.
