Overview

The Technical QA Tester Business Analyst Intermediate is responsible for managing business requirements and documenting technically specific outcomes to be produced by IT teams. This role gathers, analyzes, and defines key metrics for business solutions. It provides moderate to complex analysis of current IT and analytic systems and data structures for optimal usage. Additionally, it ensures software and application quality through testing for specific business needs, including enhancements, maintenance, and defect fixes. Under minimal supervision, this role identifies and defines business needs, gathers requirements, designs test scripts and plans, oversees test execution and reporting, and may act as a final sign-off for testing validation.

Responsibilities

• Develops and prioritizes tasks to meet project scope and deadlines.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to gather inputs and documents outcomes for IT teams.
• Assists in developing intake documents, test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
• Performs hand-offs and status updates; escalates issues impacting scope, delivery, quality, or timeliness.
• Accurately documents business needs and defects using approved standards and tools, seeking advice when needed.
• Collects customer feedback and collaborates to improve usability of IT and analytics solutions.
• Develops test management policies and end-user training materials.
• Provides instructor-led and virtual training sessions.
• Educates staff on test management processes to ensure best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience: Minimum 6 years required.
• Licensure/Certification: Epic Clarity Data Model Certification required for Data and Analytic roles.
