Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Lead QA Tester in Menands, NY.

Description:

• Create and maintain Test plans, Test strategy documents, Test scripts, Tests, Test scenarios, Test matrices for Workers? Compensation Board (WCB) Applications
• Perform Test and Defect Management using tools like HP ALM and or JIRA
• Assist and provide QA activities through all phases of the system development life cycle and ensure Testing milestones and dates are met.
• Perform Test execution & Analyzing Test results and Reporting.
• Estimate test effort for projects and provide estimations. Plan to ensure testing milestones and dates are met.
• Perform back-end Testing, Data Validation, Data Analysis, Data migration and execute SQL queries.
  
  

Mandatory Qualification:

• Conducts automated and manual tests to ensure that the software created/upgraded performs as necessary and meets the user requirements. Develops and maintains user and technical documentation and project process documentation for application teams. Understands the view of applications and/or technology and is able to put procedures in a logical sequence.
• Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education.
• 72 Months experience with Business Requirements Priority Matrix, Business Requirements Document, Gap Analysis Document and validate and verify the requirements for complex changes to current business processes, policies and information systems
• 72 Months of QA experience planning, designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, test scripts & Manage defects using tools such as HP ALM or JIRA.
• 60 Months experience as a QA team lead with expertise in handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• 36 Months of experience in performing back-end Testing, Data Validation, Data Analysis, Data migration and execute SQL queries.
• 12 Months experience in system testing, with knowledge of WCB applications and expertise in WCB systems.
