Overview

Entry Level Drafter – Metairie consulting engineering firm is seeking candidates for a Full-Time, Entry Level Drafting position for industrial, commercial and municipal projects in the New Orleans area.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting for industrial, commercial and municipal projects.
• Visit project sites to collect data as needed (may include petrochemical production facilities, elevated platforms, marine docks, and other industrial locations).

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Drafting, Computer Aided Design, or related degree from a community college or technical school.
• Great communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Elevated attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team.
• Desire to learn new software and methodologies.
