Job Description

Arcadis is seeking talented entry level engineers to join our team in various roles, including Water/Wastewater, Structural, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering, supporting projects with Westchester County.

At Arcadis, you will engage in designing and implementing innovative solutions that tackle critical challenges in your field, from improving water quality and infrastructure resilience to creating sustainable systems that enhance communities. You will collaborate with experienced professionals, interact directly with clients, and contribute to projects that positively impact the environment and quality of life.

Role Accountabilities

Water/Wastewater Resources Engineer:

Responsible for evaluation, planning, design, and management of water and wastewater projects, including pipelines, treatment, and pumping facilities. Tasks include fieldwork, supporting construction, reviewing shop drawings, and preparing reports and estimates.

Structural Engineer:

Involved in design calculations, technical reports, permitting, and detailed plans for water and wastewater projects. Requires collaboration across disciplines and compliance with standards.

Mechanical Engineer:

Creating construction-ready drawings, site surveys, and client collaboration, with knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Electrical Engineer:

Providing electrical support for water facilities, including power distribution, motor controls, and lighting, with opportunities for project management and site inspections.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.S. in Civil, Water Resources, Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
• EIT or ability to obtain within one year

Preferred:

• Engineering internship or work experience
• Knowledge of MathCAD, AutoCAD, Revit
• Experience with water/wastewater facilities or structural analysis
• Familiarity with building codes

Benefits & Compensation

Full-time and part-time benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid leave, and more. Salary range: $49,390 - $79,023/year, based on experience and location.
