Role description:
The Raleigh-Cary/Greensboro, NC team is looking for dedicated, creative, and energetic candidates interested in tackling challenges and developing sustainable solutions to address water issues like quality, scarcity, reuse, management, and resilience.

The role sits within our global business area Resilience. We work to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations.

Role accountabilities:
As part of our team, you will be involved in evaluating, planning, and designing projects related to water/wastewater/stormwater treatment and conveyance, including pipelines and pumping facilities.

You will also contribute to sustainability and resilience projects by conducting vulnerability assessments, mitigation planning, and designing solutions for utilities, municipalities, and cities.

• Support preparation of reports, presentations, and other audio-visual materials, and participate in client meetings.
• Ensure project compliance with all Arcadis practices and quality, health and safety standards, and facilitate coordination for timely completion and submission of projects on time and budget.
• Learn, design, and manage databases, SQL server (including reporting and integration services), cloud-based computing services, and configuration of interactive dashboards.
• Work independently and as part of a team, with the flexibility to accommodate collaboration with team members across the U.S. and internationally.
• Learn and use digital tools to enhance customer experience, team and client collaboration, and project delivery including configuration and deployment of SharePoint, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Power BI, and Augmented Reality.

Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelors of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or a closely related engineering discipline).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior work/internship experience at a design or consulting engineering firm or municipal work environment.
• Experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and/or Revit
• EIT certification.
