What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll help build steel structures that support modern life — from power lines to cell towers and irrigation systems. We’ll train you on the tools, techniques, and safety standards that set Valmont apart.

Your Responsibilities Include

• Performing MIG welding on structural steel components
• Reading basic blueprints and work instructions
• Inspecting welds and ensuring product quality
• Following safety procedures and reporting issues
• Working closely with team members to meet production goals

Ideal Candidates Have

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Basic familiarity with hand tools or power tools
• Interest in welding or fabrication work
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• No prior welding experience required — we’ll train you
