Entry Level Zookeeper

Duties of this relief keeper position include all aspects of daily animal care including diet preparation, feeding, cleaning, enclosure upkeep, health and welfare observation, training and enrichment, record keeping, assisting with veterinary procedures, etc. This position provides coverage for several routes and includes working with a wide variety of species.

Candidates must have good communication and organizational skills and be able to work well independently or with others in a team environment.

This is a physically demanding job which requires work in all weather conditions. Work schedule includes weekends, holidays and occasional evening events

Experience Required

Biology degree and AZA Zookeeper or Intern experience preferred.
