Summary:
Responsible for providing planning support by assisting with parts of planning projects. Discipline Involves the sphere of public policy encompassing various disciplines which seek to order and regulate land use, particularly urban land use, in an efficient and ethical way, thereby serving the needs of the community while safeguarding natural resources.
Essential Functions:
- Work within defined scope, schedule and budget parameters of task assigned.
- Communicate as appropriate to project planner and project team concerning questions, concerns, progress and results.
- Support department and other disciplines and locations as necessary.
- Support the proposal writing, cost estimating, and client management process as necessary.
- Support business development activities and maintenance of positive client relationships.
- Ability to take direction and work independently as well as effectively collaborate with teams.
- Knowledgeable in standard AutoCAD and Sketch Up software.
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Good technical writing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience:
- Undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited program in Urban or Regional Planning, Landscape Architecture, or Civil Engineering.
- Valid driver's license, in conjunction with successfully passing the Company’s MVR.
