Position Summary
The Strength and Conditioning Coach (Spring) will organize, direct, coordinate and supervise student-athletes.
- The Strength and Conditioning coach will be responsible for sport specific training programs for the out of season student-athletes.
- The Strength and Conditioning coach will organize and facilitate the proper warm up, workout, and cool down to ensure that each student is safe and enhancing their sports performance through developmentally appropriate training.
- The Strength and Conditioning coach needs to be knowledgeable in exercise physiology, proper periodization, and program implementation.
- Educate athletes on proper nutrition and recovery
- Organize resistance training seminars for middle school coaches to ensure our younger athletes are being properly trained in injury prevention and performance enhancement (1 per season)
- Teach developmentally appropriate exercises to each team depending on the demands of their sport
- Attend team meetings to emphasize the importance of off season training
- Meet with each head coach to help with sport specific programmatic needs
- The Strength and Conditioning coach will communicate with the Assistant Athletic Director and Associate Principal on facilities, equipment, scheduling and transportation.
- Recruit and retain athletes to participate in the strength and conditioning program
- Provide a safe atmosphere for all athletes
- Communicate with all stakeholders in the athletic program to best meet the needs of each student athlete.
- Build positive rapport with students and families.
- Help organize equipment, purchase orders, storage and inventory.
- Provide support and feedback for overall student-athlete development

Stipend is subject to the collective bargaining agreement attached here.
