Water Conditioning Installation and Service Technician

Finken is looking for a Water Conditioning Installation and Service Technician to join our team in the Mahtomedi area. This role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing water treatment systems for both residential and commercial customers. We need a reliable, self-motivated individual with strong mechanical and customer service skills.

Location: Mahtomedi, MN
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 40 per week

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Install water treatment systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Perform routine maintenance on water treatment systems.
• Diagnose and repair system issues efficiently.
• Address customer concerns professionally and provide clear explanations of repair processes.
• Provide customers with detailed invoices and system operation guidance.
• Promote and sell Finken Aqua Systems products and services.
• Deliver water and salt as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary.
• Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Preferred: Water Conditioning Journeyman license or plumbing apprenticeship.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Plumbing and water conditioning experience preferred.
• Requirements: Valid driver’s license.

Schedule:

• Full-time, 8-hour shifts.
• Must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Mahtomedi, MN 55115 before starting.
• Service area may range from Brooklyn Park to Hudson, WI.
