Job Summary

United Service, founded in 1953, is seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you\'ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial refrigeration systems for restaurants, supermarkets, warehouses, and other businesses. If you have a strong background in HVAC/R and enjoy troubleshooting complex systems, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair commercial refrigeration equipment, including walk-in coolers, freezers, display cases, and ice machines.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration systems, electrical components, and controls.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Respond to emergency service calls and provide on-site repairs.
• Collaborate with clients to recommend upgrades or energy-efficient solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on jobs.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, EPA regulations, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in refrigeration or HVAC preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience as a HVAC technician.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration principles, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Proficiency with tools and diagnostic equipment (e.g., multimeters, gauges, leak detectors).
• Valid driver\'s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in various environments (cold storage, heights, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years Commercial Refrigeration experience
• Strong diagnoses background with electrical diagram review experience
• Strong mechanical background
