Summit Skilled Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable and professional tradesperson with a strong mechanical background and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Base pay range

$32.00/hr - $36.00/hr

Location notes: Akron, OH; Bedford Heights, OH; Twinsburg, OH.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Complete job-related documentation and required paperwork accurately and on time
• Perform HVAC installations, repairs, and maintenance in commercial settings
• Apply knowledge of HVAC codes to ensure compliance on all projects
• Maintain a neat, tradesman-like work standard throughout the project lifecycle
• Follow site protocols including daily cleanup of work areas
• Communicate professionally and follow the established chain of command for any questions or concerns
• Report to job sites on time; most start times are between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM
• Work primarily indoors; however, work environments may lack heating or air conditioning
• Maintain focus on high-quality workmanship from start to finish each day
• Be available for overtime as needed to complete time-sensitive tasks

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of commercial HVAC experience (required)
• At least 8 years overall experience in the HVAC trade (preferred)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and HVAC code requirements
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• Professional demeanor and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments and adapt to job site conditions
