Field Commissioning Engineer - UPS, PDU, LV/MV Switchgear, Generator, ATS

Responsibilities

• Commissioning of mechanical systems, including HVAC, cooling towers, chilled water systems, CRAC/CRAH units.
• Test, troubleshoot, start up, and commission UPS, generators, LV/MV switchgear, transformers, PDUs, and power metering.
• Design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission critical facilities.
• Proficiency in PLC control systems, especially the Rockwell Automation Platform.
• Expertise in electrical schematics and strong problem-solving aptitude.
• Advanced understanding of protective relays and circuit breakers.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead site activities and meet project timelines.
• Dedication to safety protocols and maintaining a clean safety record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and willingness to work overtime including overnight stays.
• Monday through Friday national travel required with home every weekend.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with LV & MV electrical/mechanical power equipment.
• Experience with commissioning electrical systems and power equipment.
• Proficiency in electrical schematics.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel extensively.
