Switchgear Electrical Power Technician - UPS / ATS / PDU / Switchgear / Mission Critical equipment

75% travel is required.

Responsibilities include testing and maintenance of mission critical / critical infrastructure equipment such as:

• Switchgear
• Electrical equipment associated with mission critical facilities
• Woodward & similar generator controls
• Transfer Switches
• Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
• Computer Room Air Conditioners (CRACs)
• DC plants
• Power Distribution Units (PDU)
• Battery Cabinets
• Other critical equipment

As a Field Service Technician, you will play a vital role in project management and hands-on technical work, supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of projects. The organization values integrity, professional development, and excellence.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience in testing and maintenance of switchgear, UPSs, ATSs, Battery Cabinets, PDUs, generators
• Perform preventative maintenance on the above equipment
• Conduct onsite Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, with 3+ years of relevant IST experience
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to review electrical plans and develop solutions for potential risks
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform demanding tasks
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
• Ability to pass background, DMV, and credit checks
• Experience in purchase order and vendor management
