• Pay Rate: $29/hr+, depending on skillset and experience

Diesel Maintenance Technician (B)

Job Overview

The Diesel Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining all medium to heavy duty customer vehicles and equipment (class 8 semis, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.), including performing preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure efficient vehicle operations. The technician will perform duties independently with little to no supervision and must be equipped with a personal toolbox. The role also involves coaching and mentoring Diesel Maintenance Technician (C) teammates as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Basic knowledge of repairing or replacing structural, body, and mechanic parts of a trailer.
• Proficiency with brakes, drivelines, and mechanical engine components on tractors. Strong electrical skills with the ability to diagnose & repair electrical systems, emissions, and engine components.
• Basic computer skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Class A/B License preferred for some positions
• DOT Brake/Annual Inspection certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Clean driving record
