Shift and Compensation

1. Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm (hours may vary based on customer needs)
2. Pay Rate Starting at: $30+/hr, based on skillset and experience

Position: Mobile Diesel Technician (B)

Job Overview

The Mobile Technician B will repair and maintain all types of customer vehicles and equipment, including material handling, trailers, and diesel-powered equipment. The technician will perform duties independently with limited supervision, mentor and assist vehicle technicians as needed, and complete Commercial Customer asset PMs and Repairs at remote work sites.

Must be equipped with personal hand tools; tools stored in the service bed of the truck.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Basic skills in welding and cutting torch operation
• Basic diagnostic tool skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Professional interaction with customers
• Ability to schedule and prioritize tasks
• Must provide own tools
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Operate power, hand, diagnostic tools, and material handling equipment
• Capable of driving company equipment including class 8 tractors
• Work out of a mobile shop truck
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Lift 50 lbs
• Work outdoors at customer sites
• Work remotely at various sites without supervision

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• 3-5 years relevant experience
• D.O.T. Brake Inspection certification
• Valid Driver's License

Coca-Cola Consolidated is the nation's largest Coca-Cola bottler. Our diesel/fleet mechanics service external customers and Coca-Cola fleet equipment. Technicians are employed by Coca Cola Consolidated, Inc and managed by Red Classic Transit, LLC.
