Senior Director, Legal Counsel – Consumer & Digital Privacy
Coca-Cola is seeking an experienced consumer privacy counsel to join our Global Privacy Office. Location: Atlanta or DC
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead counsel on consumer privacy issues, ensuring data privacy considerations are addressed in all digital marketing and e-commerce initiatives.
- Participate in product reviews, conduct privacy assessments, and ensure compliance with consumer privacy laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain consumer data privacy guidelines and frameworks.
- Oversee our global approach to consent, cookies, and other advertising technologies.
- Maintain and update consumer data privacy notices.
- Review and negotiate data sharing provisions in contracts.
- Develop and conduct data privacy training for consumer data collection.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Law degree with strong academic credentials and active membership in a U.S. state or international bar.
- 7+ years of experience in consumer privacy issues, in a law firm, non-profit, or in-house environment.
- Deep expertise in privacy and technology issues impacting digital advertising.
- Experience with product and marketing reviews.
- Familiarity with data privacy issues related to AI and Generative AI.
