Overview

Three Rivers Park District is seeking to fill a Seasonal Naturalist position at Lowry Nature Center in Victoria, MN. This position is responsible to develop and conduct, under direction, interpretive programs that will increase the public's awareness of their surrounding environment and foster the appreciation, enjoyment and utilization of Three Rivers Park District facilities.

Starting wage: $20.00/hour

Responsibilities

Develop and conduct interpretive programs under direction to increase awareness of the environment and promote utilization of Park District facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED and at least one year of experience or related training OR any combination of education and experience equal to the above. Bachelor2s degree in a related area preferred. Experience with and knowledge of working cross culturally and with diverse youth preferred.
• Ideal candidate will have experience teaching children ages 4-14, experience in teaching at an outdoor education facility, experience with summer camps, and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
