Once snowfall has begun, Groomers maintain trails and parking lots by operating a variety of snow grooming machinery and heavy equipment, such as snowcats, drags, or trail groomers, to ensure trails are safe, smooth, and well-packed. Groomers also perform routine inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs on grooming equipment to ensure optimal performance, as well as keep grooming and maintenance logs, documenting work completed and any issues encountered.
