Seasonal Ambassadors at Lush are experts in product and brand knowledge, providing exceptional customer consultations and product demonstrations. They cultivate strong team relationships and contribute to shop excellence in both sales and operations. Responsibilities

• Sales and Customer Experience: Drive sales by utilizing StoreForce dashboard results, seek feedback, and exceed sales goals. Take ownership of personal results and contribute to the store’s overall performance. Deliver a world-class customer experience, connect with customers to identify needs, demonstrate product benefits, and look for opportunities to brighten customers’ day.
• Building the Brand: Educate customers on brand values (Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, Naked Packaging). Articulate these values in-store and through community events to drive traffic and inspire others to join in making a positive impact.
• Product Passion: Continuously expand product knowledge and stay up-to-date on ingredients and benefits to confidently make informed recommendations.

Team Involvement

• Development: Use Lush resources to develop sales techniques and product knowledge, support team growth, and actively seek feedback and opportunities to improve.
• DEIB: Encourage open communication, listen to perspectives related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, promote teamwork, and recognize each employee’s contributions.

Operational Excellence

• Time and Attendance: Be punctual, reliable, and engaged; participate in teamwork and take breaks as needed while staying updated on company news.
• Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
• Stock and Inventory: Apply Visual Merchandising guidelines to adjust displays based on sales.
• Policies and Procedures: Follow opening/closing procedures, maintain product integrity, foster a respectful workplace, and uphold health and safety standards.

Qualifications

Required:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred:

• Experience with consultation-based service
• Strong problem-solving skills for day-to-day operations
• Experience working in a team
• Experience in skincare or cosmetics
• Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training
• Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages

Compensation

Somerset Collection Pay: $14.50 per hour
