Overview

Eurest is hiring immediately for seasonal NIGHT COOK positions. Location: Dominion Nuclear Power Surry, 5570 Hog Island Road, Surry, VA 23883. Online applications are accepted only.

Pay Range: $18.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.
• Serves meals and prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, maintaining standards, and ensuring food is at the correct temperature and presented well.
• Uses established ticket procedures during service and maintains records from the area worked during service periods.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintains high cleanliness standards, and stores or discards excess food per safe handling procedures.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized; stores food and supplies per standards.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required.
• Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies as required.
• Reports needed maintenance or equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience is required.
