Overview

Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager for a new opportunity with our client in the Triad. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the management of inventory, shipping & receiving processes, and supervision of warehouse personnel, in addition to ensuring workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Staff Management: Plan and control how effectively we achieve our warehouse goals, prioritize tasks, set realistic goals, minimize distractions, manage time, coach for improvements, and maintain safety. Set daily delivery schedules for box truck drivers.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels, reorder to keep material in stock, track inventory, and ensure efficient storage.
• Order Fulfillment: Receive, process, and ship orders accurately and on time; maintain required documents for invoicing and verification.
• Safety and Security: Implement and enforce safety procedures, maintain a safe working environment, and secure the warehouse and its contents; conduct safety meetings and inspections as scheduled.
• Logistics: Coordinate transportation, manage shipments, and optimize the flow of goods within the warehouse; communicate with other departments about possible delays.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in warehouse operations and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Leadership and Management: Ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks, resolve conflicts according to company policies, and lead by example (punctuality and respectful conduct).
• Computer Skills: Proficiency with Excel; ability to track shipments. SAP experience is a plus. Ability to email daily box truck schedules and communicate clearly; capable of ordering materials and sharing tracking information.
• Other skills: Three to five years of warehouse management experience; direct reporting experience; strong time management, problem solving, and integrity in decision-making.
