Summary
Summary: Supervisory position responsible for all Raw & Pack materials Warehouse operation Safety, Material Receiving, Material Issuing to production, GWP (Good Warehouse Practice), Palletizing, inventory accuracy and inventory freshness by providing acceptable standard of services, including the stock movement with the 3PL, Plan, organize, supervise, train, assign, supervise and evaluate assigned Warehouse staff.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Has delegation to enforce discipline among his personnel but reports to his manager for disciplinary action.
- Prepare the weekly Warehouse and Labor productivity report.
- Implements and ensures safety stacking of materials.
- Ensures safe materials handling equipment’s operation especially regarding speed and load.
- Ensures fully implementation of the Procedures for Receiving of Raw & Packing Materials, Issuance to Production and Returns to Warehouse from Production.
- Organize the Warehouse in a way that physical count is possible at any time.
- Conducts the cycle counting according to the inventory calendar monthly to cover 100% of the Warehouse.
- Collaborates with buyers’ team regarding material reception.
- Manage the sampling of any arrival for releasing.
- Organizes the Warehouse to facilitate good housekeeping, pest control and adheres strictly to (FEFO) first expiry - first out policy unless otherwise advised.
- Ensure that the “material tags” are representing the present at the receipt for each consignment.
- Isolate any blocked material in a separate place and identifies it with a special label.
- Prepares the expiry report and highlighting the critical materials.
- Requested to sign documents concerning the local authorities but always in accordance with the Factory management.
- Operate and demonstrate use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary, assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of the warehouse equipment.
- Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures.
- Ensure an adequate level of flexibility to meet ad-hoc requirements or to deal with unexpected Supply Chain issues, to adapt to changes in the logistics and/or market environment.
- Ensure maintenance of the building, warehouse equipment and security.
- Identification of the potential issues for the factory within Warehouse operation and evaluate the risks and offer solutions.
- Give advance information in Daily / Weekly to ensure alignment with team and cross function on Warehouse operation within the detailed plan period.
- Ensure outstanding delivery of 3PL services by closely and effectively communications.
- Adhering to FRONERI procedures and standards.
- Update the planning parameters on the system for materials when it is needed.
- Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees, assign workloads to warehouse worker.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- At least successful operational experience in the role at business level in warehouse management.
- Relevant operational experience at business level, in the following areas is beneficial: Logistic, Technical, Transportation.
- Experience in the management of Work independently with little direction.
- Good leadership, ability of analytical thinking, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Operate a computer terminal and warehouse-related software.
- Developed ability of Excel skills
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Good knowledge of Planning cycle, commercial understanding, optimization techniques and costing.
- Results Orientated.

Work Environment
In this position, the employee will regularly work with and around others; in a wet and/or humid environment; in areas of high noise level; and around mechanical, electrical, and pressurized equipment. The work is fast paced.
The position involves frequent exposure to nuts and other potential allergens.
The pay scale for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The pay range for prospective employees in this role is between $76,000 to $89,460 per year.
