Hajoca operates with a decentralized model where each location is a Profit Center managed as its own small business. The Nashville, TN location is seeking a Warehouse Teammate.

Pay: $19 per hour at this location.

Responsibilities

• Count, verify, and receive incoming vendor shipments and customer return material.
• Stock and maintain the warehouse; pick, document, and pack customer orders in accordance with company policy and procedure.
• Maintain high attention to detail to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
• Handle shipping discrepancies per procedures or forward paperwork to the designated employee.
• Identify nonstock, special-order material, and damaged material and store in proper warehouse locations.
• Complete documentation for customer shipments delivered via third-party carrier.
• Load and unload trucks; operate warehouse forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
• Inform supervisor of stock depletions, count discrepancies, or damaged/defective/nonsaleable merchandise that could impact customer service.
• Ensure security and controls to protect Profit Center assets; maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety.
• Assist co-workers in servicing customers; perform all job functions in accordance with Safety Standards; complete required safety and compliance training programs.
• Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and management.

About You

• 1 year warehouse receiving and material handling experience.
• Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center preferred.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to quickly develop comprehensive knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center.
• Attention to detail and accuracy; ability to build positive working relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Safety conscientiousness in warehouse and material handling environment.
• Ability to learn safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to learn and operate computer-related systems used for warehouse operations.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English; basic math with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
