General Description / Primary Purpose:

Coordinates the supply and management of materials in the warehouse to ensure the timely provision of inputs required in different areas.

Major Responsibilities and Tasks/Duties:

  • Perform inspections (reception, safety, storage, stock inventory, etc.) of product stock to determine serviceability, deterioration, and recommend condition changes. Communicate inspection status to warehouse personnel.
  • Coordinate the location of uninspected products to ensure proper storage and inspection of pending stock.
  • Ensure timely unstuffing of product designated for fumigation and coordinate with USDA inspectors for seal checks.
  • Coordinate distribution and delivery of supplies or parts to expedite material flow and meet production schedules.
  • Coordinate shipping activities with external parties, checking shipments upon arrival for correctness and specifications.
  • Compile and prepare information related to production progress, inventory levels, transportation, customer information, personnel schedules, purchases, maintenance, and repairs for status reports.
  • Check data for recording errors, including sales orders and inventory matching systems.
  • Monitor yard labor assigned to yard cleaning, falling under Enstrcture SQF.
  • Calculate costs of goods or services, such as labor or materials, including warehouse supplies.
  • Discuss account status or activity with customers, troubleshooting issues related to orders, product availability, and holds.

Other Essential Characteristics: Proficiency in calculating and interpreting packaging pallets; experience with rotating equipment/machinery.

Required Experience:

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
