Able Distributing Company is one of Hajoca’s trade names and is looking for a Warehouse Teammate at its Madison, WI location.

About the role: You will be responsible for counting, verifying, and receiving incoming vendor shipments and customer return material. Stock and maintain the warehouse; pick, document, and pack customer orders in accordance with Company policy. Maintain a high level of accuracy to ensure customer satisfaction. Handle shipping discrepancies per procedures. Identify nonstock, special-order, and damaged material and store in proper locations. Complete necessary documentation for shipments delivered via third-party carriers. Load and unload trucks, operate a warehouse forklift and other material handling equipment safely. Inform supervisor of stock depletions, discrepancies, or damaged merchandise that could impact service levels. Ensure security and cleanliness, protect assets, and uphold safety standards. Perform other related duties as required.

About You

• 1 year warehouse receiving and material handling experience
• Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center preferred
• Possess outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Ability to quickly develop knowledge of products
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers
• Safety awareness in warehouse and material handling environments
• Ability to learn to safely operate forklift and equipment
• Ability to learn computer systems used for warehouse operations
• Read, write, speak, and understand English
• Math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
