What You’ll Do: As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you'll be part of our earth-moving operations on environmental remediation sites. You’ll operate a variety of equipment — including excavators, dozers, backhoes, compactors, articulated dump trucks, and front-end loaders — with precision and care.

You’ll be based out of our Anaheim, CA office and travel to local job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment (CAT or John Deere controls) safely and skillfully
  • Follow cut and fill stake guidance to meet grading specs
  • Perform minor equipment maintenance and inspections
  • Monitor equipment load capacity and operate within safe limits
  • Work in a team-focused environment with safety as the top priority

What You Bring:

Must-Have Skills:

  • 4+ years’ experience operating heavy equipment on civil or public infrastructure projects
  • Hands-on knowledge of excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, dump trucks, etc.
  • HAZWOPER 40-Hour certification + 8-Hour Refresher (or willingness to obtain)
  • Attention to detail and commitment to operating safely for long periods
  • Understanding of equipment limitations, load balance, and site safety

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment operations
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience reading grading plans and interpreting cut and fill stakes
