Overview

Dan’s Construction & Excavation is currently seeking a highly motivated and reliable Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment, including excavator, dozer, loader, skidsteer, haul truck, etc.
• Maintain equipment, including grease, fuel, clean windows, clean cab, shovel tracks, etc.
• Assist skilled tradespeople and equipment operators on various tasks.
• Prepare and maintain clean and safe job sites, including debris and trash removal.
• Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment.
• Operate a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Perform physically demanding tasks.
• Follow all safety protocols and site procedures.
• Perform other general labor duties as needed.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with Combination Endorsement (or willing & able to obtain, company paid)
• Clean driving record
• Verifiable heavy equipment experience (Excavator, Dozer, Loader, Skid Steer, Haul Truck, etc.)
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Seasonal position with possible year-round work.
• Occasional out of town work (expenses paid).
