ZipRecruiter is hiring: Heavy Equipment Operator in Los Angeles

Underground Utilities/Grading Contractor is currently looking to fill full-time positions for our current workload, which includes the excavation of wet utilities (sewer, water, storm drain), dry utilities (Edison, AT&T, Time Warner, and gas), and grading (rough and fine).

Open positions available for immediate filling:

• Heavy Equipment Operator: - Candidates should have at least 4 years of equipment operating experience and 6 years of trade experience. Skills required include operating backhoes, excavators, loaders, water trucks, motor graders, skid steers, etc. We seek operators skilled in excavation for pipeline trenches. Hourly pay ranges from $35 to $45, based on experience. We are a non-union company with minimal prevailing wage work.

Applications for foreman and pipelayer positions are also being accepted and will be considered.

Our primary workload is within Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. All employees must provide their own transportation to job sites. A valid driver’s license is required. Applicants should be available for immediate hire, within 1-2 weeks.
