CHHA Position Details
We are seeking a highly experienced Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) capable of handling clients with conditions such as dementia, combative behaviors, and requiring assistance with Hoyer lifts, transfers, incontinence, meal preparation, etc. This role involves filling in for same-day call-outs. Effective communication and detailed documentation of client care are essential. Requirements include:

- Minimum of 20 hours paid per week, with potential for more
Compensation ranges from $16 to $20 per hour, with mileage incentives based on travel distance. Service areas include Warren and Morris Counties.
Additional Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- At least one year of experience working with seniors in a home setting
- Proficiency in English and excellent communication skills
- Two references
- Proof of a TB test taken within the last year with clear results
- Ability to pass a background check
- Certification as a Home Health Aide from an accredited program, with current state certification
Position Summary
CHHAs will work under the general supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON) and the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. They are responsible for assisting clients with activities of daily living, including personal care (dressing, bathing) and instrumental activities of daily living (light housekeeping, meal prep, etc.).
CHHAs are expected to notify the DON of any changes in the client's condition.
