Overview

Cascade Farm and Outdoor is looking for a Hardware Clerk to join our team. The position builds, promotes, and delivers a high degree of customer service, with responsibilities including inventory replenishment, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining merchandise. Our hardware clerk helps ensure a well-stocked department and provides prompt and friendly service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Prompt and friendly customer service
• Maintain a well-stocked hardware department
• Inventory replenishment and stocking
• Accurate handling of customer transactions (cashier duties)
• Support any additional duties as assigned to meet store goals

Qualifications

• The ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
• Arrive on time with a positive, friendly attitude
• Ability to be precise, set priorities, and organize workload
• Ability to solve problems and offer solutions to customers
• Ability to engage with and assist a variety of individuals
• Provide excellent customer service

Experience

• Previous experience as a cashier, sales associate, bagger, courtesy clerk, or other retail positions is a plus
• Prior experience at retail brands such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, and Albertsons is also an asset
• Knowledge and experience with home repair, automotive care, and other building hobbies are valued

Schedule

As an employee-owned company, Cascade Farm & Outdoor stores are open 8:00 am – 8:00 pm Monday – Saturday and 9:00 am – 6:00 pm Sunday. Hours may vary depending on workload and assignment.
