Responsibilities

The Hardware Clerk position builds, promotes, and delivers a high degree of customer service. Responsibilities include inventory replenishment, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining merchandise. Daily tasks include prompt and friendly service to customers, ensuring a well-stocked department, and precise handling of customer transactions.

Qualifications

• The ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
• The capability to arrive on time with a positive and friendly attitude
• The ability to be precise, set priorities, and organize workload
• The talent to efficiently solve problems and offer solutions to customers
• The capacity to engage with and assist a variety of individuals
• An ability to provide excellent customer service
• Experience: Previous experience as a cashier, sales associate, bagger, courtesy clerk, or other retail positions is a plus
• Knowledge of home repair, automotive care, and related building hobbies are valued

Schedule

As an employee-owned company, Cascade Farm & Outdoor stores are open 8:00 am - 8:00 pm Monday - Saturday and 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Sunday. Hours may vary depending on workload and assignment.
