A Junior Hardware Technician job in Washington, DC (20565) is currently available through Belcan at one of our key federal clients. To be considered for this role, you will have excellent customer service skills, working knowledge of computers, laptops, and peripheral hardware as well as basic analytical and troubleshooting skills to install, repair, and maintain various hardware and software.

Job Duties:

• Assist with computer rollouts, tech refreshes, and software upgrades
• Perform new user hardware and software setup
• Conduct hardware relocations and reclaims
• Perform training room setup/takedown
• Install, repair, and maintain various software and hardware
• Setup and deploy network printers
• Receive and barcode new and existing computer hardware and enter new hardware inventory to stock
• Perform administration of hardware inventory
• Manage inventory stockroom

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to perform 'white glove' services for VIPs
• Working knowledge of computer and laptop hardware and peripherals, both Windows and Mac
• Basic analytical and troubleshooting skills to install, repair, and maintain various software and hardware

Compensation:

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering an hourly rate of $21 an hour. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
