Overview

IDEMIA National Security Solutions (NSS) is seeking a Systems Administrator/Hardware Technician with an Active Secret Security Clearance to maintain and support IT systems and specialized passport personalization hardware at Passport Offices and Agencies for the U.S. State Department through a national system of regional service centers.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support desktop computers, servers/workstations, software, and COTS/GOTs technologies, including Active Directory, SCCM, patches, and databases.
• Provide planning, installation, training, monitoring, and maintenance of hardware and software; manage security updates and system images.
• Generate reports on server/workstation builds and environment management; manage Windows, Linux, VMware, and NetApp filers as applicable.
• Coordinate risk management for IT services; plan upgrades and hardware/software refreshes; perform backups, restores, and data integrity checks; plan for consolidation and retirement of components.
• Maintain documentation including configurations, diagrams, and technical documentation; ensure availability and efficiency of systems, software, hardware, and data; provide technical support for testing/evaluation.
• Hardware maintenance for card printers and related equipment; manage Active Directory accounts and badge logon administration; control security-related permissions.
• Remediate vulnerabilities and ensure SEP compliance; maintain security services for hardware and software; monitor performance and document topology.

Requirements

• US Citizenship (no dual) and active Secret Security Clearance
• 8 years as a Systems Administrator/Network Engineer; experience with Cisco switching/routing and firewall technology

Education

• BA/BS Information Technology or related field

Certifications

• CompTIA A+
